Rajasthan the land of kings and also a land of colors. Magnificient Forts, palaces, temples, wildlife, sand dunes, culture attracts tourists from all over the world. Though there are many palaces and forts to visit in Rajasthan, my favorite is Sajjangarh. The hilltop palatial residence of Maharaja Sajjan Singh and is named after him. This palace is located in the Udaipur city of Rajasthan, India. It is built of stunning marble pillars, with flowers and leaves carved all over it. Monsoon Palace was constructed to enjoy the monsoon clouds.

It provides a beautiful view of Aravalli hills.

The best time to visit the palace is during monsoon, as you will be welcomed with eye-soothing greenery, spread all around.

Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace

The palace is open on all days of the week. The gate opens at 8.00 am and closes at 6.00 pm. Tickets are available at the ticket counter at the gate at nominal prices. Sajjangarh Biological Park is a zoological garden situated just beneath the Monsoon palace. It’s around 4km from the city center.

The Best time to visit this palace is during monsoon & winters.
