1)What prompted you to start Kusumavali Jewels?
My late mother always wanted me to do something in the jewelry field, I was never into diamonds and gold but designing was my forte since childhood.
Thus my interest in designing and her love for jewelry landed me in the field of jewelry design.
Deep down I desired to start my own brand, where I could give small details to the people. Today when I see my clients wearing my creations, it fills me with immense pride and joy.
After my mother, Mrs. Kusum Aggarwal passed away, I opted for a jewelry designing course and devoted my whole time to designing and researching jewelry. Thereby, starting the namesake brand “Kusumavali Jewels”.
2)What is the idea behind the Neer Collections?
Neer was conceived in my mind 2 years ago. I got a lot of requests about chic designer jewelry, different from diamond and gold league, and most importantly affordable. Individuals want to change accessories/jewelry on a daily basis. And honestly, gold prices seem to be increasing.
For those who love variety and want to pamper themselves with different and unique designs every day, I created Neer Collection. After one and a half years of designing, research, and test manufacturing, the results were beautiful and it was a go-ahead for our brand.
3) Most of your designs are inspired by nature but Neer looks different?
I have always been mesmerized by the beauty of nature, but Neer had to be different. Though some of the designs are inspired by nature but in a contemporary way as I didn’t want them to be cliché traditional jewelry. This thought motivated me to design a whole new discrete collection than my existing one.
4) What advice will you give to today’s young trendy women who want to go for Sterling Silver (SS925) Jewellery? Can Sterling Silver Jewellery be worn at the workplace?
Definitely, Neer has especially been designed for young and trendy women out there, who can wear this collection at the workplace, dinner date, or to any party.

SS925 provides increased durability and hardness, perfect for jewelry making, particularly intricate design. So yes, it is a good choice against expensive metals.
5) How do you plan to differentiate Neer Collection from other brands existing in the same sector?
Neer is something that came directly from my heart. I always wanted to design luxurious plus affordable jewelry for all jewelry lovers. I know with gold prices rising, it has become difficult to indulge yourself with unique and designer jewelry, every now and then. Therefore Neer is my offering to those hardworking people out there, who at the end of the day would love to pamper themselves without thinking about the cost.
It is different because I put my heart, mind, and hours of my time into every piece’s designing and making. I believe the wearer should feel connected with the jewelry, and not consider it as another junk purchase.
6) How is the response to Neer Collection? What are your future plans around the sterling silver collection?
The response has been extremely encouraging. We have received a lot of warmth and love from existing customers as well as new purchasers who have joined the family.
