INTRODUCTION

This is a wonderful book, about the life of a flight attendant. We often see the glamour part of the industry, visiting new places, staying in the best of the hotels, meeting elite crowd but then there is a flip side to this all.

This is a story of a girl, who dares to dream and wanted to see the whole world. She achieves her dream and becomes an air hostess. I was impressed by her clarity of vision and determination. She was not ready to settle for the second best.

The writer takes us through an internal journey of cabin crew attendants. I have myself witnessed many incidents, where flyers are not ready to comply with the basic safety instructions, making it difficult for crew members.

This book proves the proverb right, travel is the best way to experience and live life. Travel opens up your mind and makes you more accommodating. One starts enjoying the diversity and witnesses different cultures. Pari’s journey from a timid teenager to a confident mature cabin crew member is a sheer delight to read. She has been honest in her writings, she also mentioned that at times due to grilling schedules, many crew members suffer from cervical or spondylitis.

PLOT

The book is about Pari Abraham, who wants to live life, see the world and experience things. She wants to be an air hostess, her dreams come true when she joins Kuber Airlines. After going through classes and clearing her license , she is all set to fly.  No day is a dull day, she witnesses the dirty and dark side of celebrities,  political leaders and regular people. She saves the life of a flyer with other crew members, she also saw her colleague snatched away by death, due to cardiac arrest. While flying she meets a pilot and falls for him, she sees all, it is one heck of a roller coaster ride.

I enjoyed every moment with Pari, her writing style is refreshing and entertaining. For one or the other reason, you will remain hooked till the end.

I would definitely recommend this book, especially to young females, who often give up on their dreams, after encountering difficulties.

Why not read the book:

If you are not a fan of the aviation sector.

If you are into fiction, then can give it a miss.
